Anxiety isn't a personal flaw; it’s simply your brain’s ancient survival mechanism working overtime. When we experience daily stresses or worry about the future, our primitive mind—the amygdala—mistakes these thoughts for real physical dangers, triggering a "fight, flight, or freeze" response and filling a metaphorical "stress bucket." When this bucket overflows, it overrides our logical, calm intellectual mind, leaving us trapped in a exhausting cycle of panic, overthinking, and emotional overwhelm. Many traditional approaches ask you to revisit past traumas, which can inadvertently keep this stress response on high alert and fill that bucket even further.
''The sessions were highly beneficial. During covid I had counselling for my anxiety and it took a lot longer, well over 6 months. You did it in 6 weeks!! And it's so much better to focus on positive things rather than mull in the past.''
